Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-05-17. These Terms govern subscriptions to the BlockStop service operated by BlockStop, registered at Schanzstrasse 12, 1150, Vienna.
1. Agreement by use
By accessing or using this website or the Service, you accept these Terms. Continued use of the website or Service constitutes acceptance of the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
“Consumer” means a natural person who acts for purposes outside his/her trade, business or profession. “Subscription” means a paid recurring access to the Service.
3. Services and Pricing
We provide access to the app features described on our pricing page. Prices, billing cycles, and free-trial terms are those on our pricing page and may be updated afterwards with a notice to subscribers.
4. Payment, Renewal, Cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date. To cancel, follow the cancellation process in the app or contact customer support at ferdi.mag.stein@gmail.com. Refund and cancellation policies applicable to consumers are stated in this clause.
5. Consumer Information & Right of Withdrawal
If you are a Consumer in Austria ordering a paid subscription online, you have certain information and withdrawal rights under Austrian consumer-protection law. When applicable, the right of withdrawal and how to exercise it are explained during checkout and in our Customer Support pages. Exceptions to withdrawal (e.g., immediate digital performance started with your explicit consent and waiver of the withdrawal right) will be clearly stated at purchase.
6. User Account
You must provide accurate information and keep account credentials secure. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account.
7. Data Protection
We process personal data according to our Privacy Policy, which explains legal bases, purposes, and user rights (including access, correction, and deletion). The Privacy Policy also describes cookie use and any data transfers. See our Privacy policy
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damages up to the amount paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Modifications
We may modify these Terms. For existing subscribers we will provide notice of material changes and — where required by law — obtain explicit consent for changes that negatively affect consumers’ essential rights. Continued use after notice indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Austrian law. Consumers retain the right to bring claims in the courts where they reside under mandatory consumer-protection rules. For other disputes, the competent courts of Vienna, Austria will have jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
